The Obama Presidency was not good for the Democratic Party. The party not only lost more than 1,000 seats nationwide, it also veered farther to the left. By doubling down on identity politics, it has become even more illiberal and even more hostile to the American way of life. Where will liberalism and the Democratic Party go from here?
