Associate Activity - Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens

Join us for a special evening at one of Washington DC's most memorable homes, Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens. The former residence of businesswoman, philanthropist and socialite, Marjorie Merriweather Post, Hillwood is now a museum home to distinguished eighteenth-century French art, Russian imperial art and twenty-five acres of beautiful gardens and secluded woodlands just a few miles from Capitol Hill.
Sip on cocktails and enjoy hors d'oeuvres as you explore Hillwood and discover why Marjorie Merriweather Post had a passion for excellence, art and history and why dedicating her home as a museum was her final and lasting legacy. Following the reception, enjoy dinner and conversation surrounded by the company of Hillwood's beautiful gardens. Buses will depart at 5:00 p.m. from the Marriott Marquis and will return to the hotel between 9:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Remarks: Mark Penn - Political Strategist; Founder, Stagwell Group LLC; Author, Microtrends Squared: The New Small Forces Driving the Big Disruptions Today
"I want young Americans to see how someone lived in the twentieth century and how this person could collect works of art the way I have...
I want to share this with the rest of the world."
- Marjorie Merriweather Post
