Associate Activity - Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens
Join us for a special evening at one of Washington DC's most memorable homes, Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens. The former residence of businesswoman, philanthropist and socialite, Marjorie Merriweather Post, Hillwood is now a museum home to distinguished eighteenth-century French art, Russian imperial art and twenty-five acres of beautiful gardens and secluded woodlands just a few miles from Capitol Hill.
Sip on cocktails and enjoy hors d'oeuvres as you explore Hillwood and discover why Marjorie Merriweather Post had a passion for excellence, art and history and why dedicating her home as a museum was her final and lasting legacy. Following the reception, enjoy dinner and conversation surrounded by the company of Hillwood's beautiful gardens. Buses will depart at 5:00 p.m. from the Marriott Marquis and will return to the hotel between 9:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Buses will depart from the Marriott Marquis to Heritage between 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. and will return to the hotel between 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Opening Night Reception
At Monday night's opening reception, you'll exchange ideas with policy experts and fellow members over drinks and delicious food. Engage with content recapping Heritage's impact over the past year -- get a behind the scenes glimpse at the important role right-of-center workin groups are playing to address complicated, key policy issues, Congressional testimonies from Heritage experts and unbelievable amounts of special addresses from Cabinet members and Members of Congress. This is a can't miss reception.
Additional Activity - Breakfast and Exploration: Museum of the Bible
Making its grand opening in November 2017, Museum of the Bible aims to be among the most technologically advanced and engaging museums in the world. Showcasing rare and fascinating artifacts spanning 3,500 years of history, the museum offers visitors an immersive and personalized experience with the Bible, and its ongoing impact on the world around us. Begin the morning with breakfast and fantastic views of the city. Exploration of the museum is at your leisure. Buses will depart 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. from the hotel and will be returning to the hotel between 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
